Equipment

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Jigger (for measuring)
  • Muddler
  • spoon (optional, for mixing)
  • Strainer (if not using ice directly in the glass)
  • Rocks or highball glass

Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 oz vodka
  • 3 oz fresh apple cider
  • 0.5 oz fresh lemon juice
  • 0.5 oz simple syrup optional, for extra sweetness
  • Ice cubes
  • Sparkling water for topping
  • Cinnamon stick for garnish
  • Apple slice for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Combine Ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, add vodka, apple cider, lemon juice, and simple syrup (if desired).
  • Add Ice and Shake: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  • Pour and Top: Strain the mixture into a glass filled with fresh ice. Top with a splash of sparkling water for a little fizz.
  • Garnish: Add a cinnamon stick and apple slice as garnish.

Notes

Tips:

  • Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less simple syrup.
  • For a spiced version, add a pinch of cinnamon or a dash of bitters.
