Prep the Batter:

- In a separate bowl, whisk the milk, egg, vanilla extract, and melted butter.
- Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry mixture, mixing until just combined.
- Fold in the diced apples.

- Carefully drop tablespoon-sized portions of the batter into the hot oil, frying a few at a time.
- Fry for about 1-2 minutes per side or until golden brown, then transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
Glaze the Fritters:
- In a small bowl, whisk together powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Once the fritters are slightly cooled, dip or drizzle them with the glaze.
- Let the glaze set for a few minutes on a wire rack.
