Equipment

  • Pressure cooker or instat pot

Ingredients
  

  • 2 chicken breasts cut into 4 cutlets
  • 1 jar of marinara sauce about 3 cups
  • 1 cup of mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon of Italian seasoning
  • ½ teaspoon of Salt
  • ½ teaspoon of ground black pepper
  • Fresh basil or parsley to garnish

Instructions
 

  • Run the chicken cutlets with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning, and make sure to rub them in properly.
  • Pour your marinara sauce into the instant pot, then toss in the seasoned chicken whilst scooping some sauce on top of the chicken.
  • Close the lid of the pot, and set the valve to seal, then cook on high pressure for 5 minutes.
  • When the pot reaches the right pressure, it'll notify you by beeping, then release the steam.
  • Now, open the lid gently, and top the chicken with cheese, then close the lid, and allow it to sit until the cheese is melted.

Notes

  • If you can’t get marinara sauce, any other pasta sauce will do a good enough job of being a substitute.
